Indian smartphone vendor Karbonn, which has been competing against the domestic rival Micromax for a long time, is quite successful in offering best smartphones in the low-to-mid range segment to Indian customers.
Yet again the company has silently unleashed its latest phone called the A25 Plus in the market via third party online retailer Snapdeal. Although Karbonn has not officially launched the handset so far, the device can be bought at an affordable price of Rs. 5,799. The latest smartphone is a successor to the company's previously launched A25 handset. Last month the mobile phone vendor released the Karbonn Titanium S1 Plus smartphone for Rs 5,749.
Karbonn A25 Plus, which falls in the company's rich A series, is well equipped with a decent hardware and features. At the given price, the device is not a bad deal.
The Karbonn A325 Plus comes with a 5 Inch FWVGA display. According to the listing of the specs on the online retail sites, it is powered by a 1.3 GHz Dual Core processor coupled with 512 of MB and it runs on Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 OS.
In the imaging front, the device features a 5MP rear camera with flash and you will also find a front facing VGA shooter.
Karbonn A25 Plus houses a native storage capacity of 4GB, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.
You will find an array of connectivity options which include Bluetooth, WiFi, 2G, EDGE, GPRS and USB. On top of that it is a dual SIM supported handset.
It is powered by a 1800 mAh but the company has not specified the talktime and standby time the cell will offer to the handset.
The only drawback in the handset is that it doesn't come with a 3G connectivity, which is one of the most primary feature that a buyer will look for. However, at the given price some specs have to be compromised. The large screen and a dual SIM support is obviously an added advantage.
