Another flagship handset from Karbonn called Karbonn A29 has been unleashed recently and has already made it to an e-commerce site. Thus, the domestic smartphone can be bought from Saholic at Rs 8,990. The website lists that the phone will be delivered in 4 business days.
Going by the specs the latest Karbonn A29 comes with a pretty impressive guts. Here, have a look below;
The phone has a 4.7-inch IPS LCD display with a qHD resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. Compared to other Karbonn handsets, this one has a pretty low resolution.
OS, Processor and RAM
The Karbon A29 rubs on Android v4.1 Jelly Bean platform and is powered by a dual core processor clocked to 1.2GHz. The handset is also supported by RAM about which there is now detail mentioned but is speculated that it has 512MB RAM.
The A29 comes with a 8 megapixel rear camera with an LED flash and a 2 megapixel front facing camera. There are plenty camera handsets in the Indian Market but 2MP front facing camera at the price of Rs. 8,990 is pretty much impressive and conspicuous.
Karbonn A29 comes with a dual SIM support like every other handsets from domestic manufacturers brings in the market. However, other than that the handset features connectivity options like 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPRS, Bluetooth with EDR and A2DP and GPS. Moreover, it is surely provided with a micro USB port.
Storage and Battery
The Karbonn A29 has an internal storage capacity of 4GB of which only 2.53GB is available for users. Further, the memory can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. The handset is powered by a 2000mAh battery.
After having a brief lok at the specs of the handset it is pretty sure that most of the users will find it to be decent. If compared to other handsets from other international brands, it falls pretty cheap range and to get a smartphone with such 4.7 inch display size is also not a matter to be overlooked. The handset comes with a 4.1 version of Jelly Bean Android OS, which is a relief as well because it supports almost all the apps.
However, very closely priced are the devices that come with the quad core processors. Thus it is likely to face a bit of a problem in that aspect. Further, with the increasing congestion on the smartphone market witnessed by many, Karbonn might wanna focus more on the marketing side as well.
