As the low cost dual SIM smartphones based on Android OS are gaining more popularity over the recent times, several handset vendors have shifted to the bandwagon of making such devices in order to secure a significant market share as the Indian consumers are highly price conscious.
Recently, Karbonn Mobiles launched A5+ a dual SIM Android smartphone priced at Rs 4,899 in to the already occupied smartphone arena. The handset has some impressive features and specifications for its price.
Karbonn A5+
As far as specifications are concerned, A5+ sports a 3.5 inch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels, 1GHz single core processor, micro SD card slot supporting up to 32GB expandable memory, Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread OS, 3.5MP rear camera, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G, and 1,420 mAh Li-ion battery.
Karbonn A5+ with the above mentioned specs and price could be a potential rival to the entry-level smartphones including Micromax A57 Ninja 3, Lava Iris N320, Intex Aqua 4.0, iBall Andi 3e and Spice Mi-320 as these handsets are also dual SIM budget smartphones with similar specs and price.
Micromax A57 Superfone Ninja 3

On the pricing front, A57 Ninja 3 is priced at Rs 4,999, which is similar to the price of A5+. With similar specs and price, A57 Ninja 3 smartphone could be a potential rival to Karbonn A5+.
Lava Iris N320
Following the launch of Iris N350, Lava has again come up with Iris N320, another budget Android smartphone priced at Rs 3,999 to take over the other handsets in that price range.
