Karbonn S2 Titanium: Quad Core Phablet Now on Sale at Rs 10790

Karbonn now throws a better competition to its native competitors with regards to smartphones with quad-core processors.

With the announcement of the date for the launch of Karbonn S2 Titanium due on May 14, Indian mobile phone brands with quad-core processors, such as,Micromax Canvas HD A116 with its MediaTek's quad-core processor and Lava Mobile with it's Xolo Q700, are in jeopardy.

The Karbonn S2 Titanium has already hit the pre-ordering process in e-commerce portal Infibeam and is available for a fair price of Rs. 10,790.

This Quad Core processor smartphone runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS platform which is also backed by 1.2 GHz Quad Core processor for better overall speed.

The phone with 5 inches display that gives the user good FWVGA display resolution comes with an 8-megpixel auto-focus rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front facing camera.

It seems that the 8MP primary camera and the 2MP secondary camera of the Karbonn S2 Titanium is brought in from its predecessor S5 Titanium, It has 4GB of ROM and 1GB of RAM. It supports upto32 GB of external memory.

This smartphone is enabled with EDGE and supports 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth with A2DP, GPS, and is powered by a 2,100mAh battery that gives you longer talk time and standby time. It has a dual SIM support like S5 and also has a pre-installed Google Play app, Music Player, FM radio and Video Player.

In fact the specifications of the two smartphones are almost the same, except that the screen for the S5 has a higher resolution with quarter HD at 540 × 960 pixels.
