The Indian smartphone manufacturers have got a new iteration to fight for. You call it the full HD display featuring handsets. Soon after Micromax produced its first FHD handset called Canvas Turbo, now the second best Indian smartphone maker Karbonn has released its Full HD handset in the e-commerce sector. The device comes dubbed as the Titanium S7.
However, the handset is not officially released nor is it available fully, but the company has let the device out for pre-orders at the price of Rs. 14,999 via Flipkart.
Going by the specs, the device comes with a 5-inch Full HD display based on OGS Technology and it offers a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
Powering the device is a 1.5GHz quad-core processor and it runs on Google's Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system.
It sports 16GB of internal memory, as well as a microSD memory card slot for expanding the storage up to 32 GB.
The mobile phone also features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front camera for video calling.
In terms of connectivity, users will find 3G connectivity, WiFi, MicroUSB port (2.0) and Bluetooth capabilities, and built-in GPS receiver. Apart from that, like other Karbonn smartphones, this one also comes with Dual SIM (3G + 2G GSM) .
Sadly, the e-commerce site fails to provide the RAM and battery capacity of the handset. However, the Karbonn Titanium S7 comes in Black color and is expected to go on sale next week onwards.
Moreover, Karbonn has also got Titanium X which will come with the similar full HD display soon.
When it comes to competition, the new device on pre-order is likely to face a competition from devices like the Micromax's Canvas Turbo and Gionee Elife E6 smartphones. Although there are several handsets that will compete with handset, considering the price factor, these two are more eminent.
