The home grown company in India, Lakshmi Access Communication Systems was recently the talk of the industry. The company successfully announced its highly affordable tablet launch in the country. The tablet which had its manufacture in China has some attractive features in it. The tablet was specially designed for the purpose of assisting a survey in the country. Now after tablets, the company is into manufacturing of smart phones. The company will soon launch its high end Android smartphone, LACS Magnum Mirchi 5. The launch is scheduled for someday in September in India.

The Bangalore based LACS is known to give emphasis more on bringing out high end devices at affordable price tags. The new smartphone device will have some cutting edge features. LACS Magnum Mirchi 5 comes with a 5 inch display screen, which is somewhat similar to the much respected Dell Streak. The processor is a very powerful one in the new smartphone with the CPU having a clock speed of 1GHz. The Android support in the new mobile phone will be an Android 2.3 Gingerbread which is now a very common and vital configuration in almost all the Smartphones now in the industry. The phone will have internal memory storage of a 512 MB. RAM capacity is again a 512 MB for the device. The device will come with a stunning 5 Mega Pixel camera attached to its rear in addition to the VGA camera provided in the front. The VGA camera thus makes it possible to make video calls from the phone.

The 5 inch display of the new smartphone will be an added advantage for the phone. It will offer the users a quality display with superb picture clarity of 800 X 480 pixels. LACS Magnum Mirchi 5 is thus boasted to have all the updated features for an Android Smart phone.

However, the performance of the phone is yet to be analyzed which can be done only after its official release this September.

Other highlighted features of the phone are an integrated FM Radio utility; a light sensor, e compass and an accelerometer for auto rotate. The data transfer option is strengthened with a Bluetooth device, and the connectivity is well secured by an updated WiFi device. HSPA connectivity is also provided in the phone.

The competition is very stiff for LACS Magnum Mirchi 5 with some reputed brands in the market offering their most appreciated quality Android devices. Some other Smartphones LACS will have to face includes LG Optimus One and Black, HTC ChaCha, Micromax A60, Samsung Galaxy S, Spice M 410 and the list goes on.

LACS intend to present their Magnum Mirchi 5 mobile at a price range of Rs 20000 in the Indian markets.
