The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Landvo has launched a budget Android-powered phone that looks almost identical to the Galaxy S6, and costs about a fraction of what you would pay for Samsung's bestselling Galaxy S6.
The Landvo S6, a Galaxy S6 clone, has the same design as the original does. The camera placement is even exactly the same, as shown in photos.
Although the Landvo S6 phone looks the same as Samsung's Galaxy S6 the hardware differs in a few important ways. The low-cost phone has a 720p HD resolution, instead of a Quad-HD display on the Samsung Galaxy S6.
Moreover, the Landvo S6 is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor, paired with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM. The Landvo S6 comes with a 16-megapixel camera alongside a 5-megapixel camera like the Galaxy S6.
Landvo's S6 phone appears to be just as slim as Samsung's. It even comes with a 2,550 mAh battery as the Samsung Galaxy S6. It also runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop.
"Other details for the phone are a "heartbeat test", "eye recognition features" and a "high-side light metal border, 9 kinds fabrication technology. per Metal border needs takes 111 minutes to polish," GizChina writes.
As of now, the Landvo S6 is available for purchase in China for around $110 or about Rs. 7,150.
