Lava E-Tab Ivory: 7 Inch, Dual SIM 3G Voice Calling Tablet Launched at Rs 10,199


    The festive season has just begun and it seems that Lava International has come up with a tablet for the Indian market. Yes, you guessed it right? The makers behind Lava Iris 504q have officially launched a tablet dubbed as "E-Tab Ivory" with dual SIM 3G connectivity.

    Moreover, the tablet supports 3G voice calling. The 7-inch tablet is priced attractively at Rs 10,199. The tech vendor has tied up with Hungama for value added services (VAS). The Android 4.1 Jelly Bean powered tablet device comes pre-loaded with HD games such as Total Recall HD and NFS HD.

    The Lava E-Tab Ivory packs a 7-inch display having resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. The tablet is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor (MediaTek) with Power VRSGX531 ultra GPU. The RAM stands at 1GB and 4GB of ROM comes out of the box. The internal memory can be further expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card slot. There's a 2-megapixel camera on the rear and a VGA quality front facing camera fitted on the front side.

    The device measures 10.8mm in terms of thickness. Android 4.1 Jelly Bean comes out of the box. The makers have added a 3000mAh Li Ion battery, which doesn't look tempting. Other connectivity includes: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, amongst other features. The tablet also comes bundled with various apps, predominantly; OLX, PayTm, Gmail Twitter, Facebook Whatapp and more.

    Intex iBuddy Connect

    Back in April, Intex had launched Dual SIM 3G tablet with voice calling. The device is still available in Indian market. Some of the highlighted specifications include: 7-inch display, 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of ROM ( expandable up to 32GB via a micro SD card slot), Android 4.0.4 ICS, HDMI, 3MP rear camera/ 1.3MP front facing camera, 3G Dual SIM, Voice calling, Wi-Fi and a 3500mAh Li Ion battery. The Intex iBuddy Connect is priced at Rs 9990 in the Indian market.
