Amidst the Computex 2014 teach show which is taking place in Taipei and Apple's WWDC 2014 Developers Conference, Indian smartphone makers like Micromax and Lava have been releasing their set of new smartphones in the low-end price tag in the native market.

Lava Iris 300 Style and 3G 412 Plus With Android 4.2 OS Now Listed On

Now Lava has once again listed its two new budget-friendly handsets dubbed Lava Iris 300 Style and 3G 412 on its official website. However, the company has not revealed the price and availability of these devices as of now. The Lava Iris 300 style will be offered in Dark Blue and White color variant, while the Lava 3G 402+ would be available in Dark Grey and White color options.

A couple of weeks ago, Lava also released its Iris X1 smartphone, while its premium smartphone arm Xolo has recently released its latest low-end Android KitKat phone called Q600s in India.

Lava Iris 300 comes with a 3.2-inch (320 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, 1 GHz dual-core processor, Dual SIM (GSM + GSM) with Dual Standby, Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS, 2MP rear camera, 0.3MP (VGA) front-facing camera, 2G (EDGE), Bluetooth with A2DP, Wi-Fi, 256MB RAM, 512MB Internal memory (125 MB user memory), Expandable memory with micro SD and1400 mAh battery.

Key specs of Lava 3G 402+

The Lava 3G 402+ on the toehr hand comes with a slightly bigger 4-inch (480 x 800 pixels) capacitive touch screen display. Apart from that it is powered by 1 GHz dual-core processor. Other specs include, Dual SIM (GSM + WCDMA) with Dual Standby, Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS, 2MP rear camera with LED flash, 0.3MP (VGA) Auto-facing camera, 3G, Bluetooth with A2DP, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, 512MB RAM, 512MB Internal memory (92MB user memory), Expandable memory with micro SD and a 1500 mAh battery.

In terms of competition, the latest two offering from Lava which is yet to go on sale soon will have to compete with a hot selling handset like Moto E which comes with Android KitKat OS and better specs as well. Moreover, these two devices will also have to rival against Micromax's Unite 2 and Canvas Engage.
