Lava Iris 400Q With Android KitKat Now Available For Rs 5,499

Priced at Rs. 5,499, the Lava Iris 400Q will rival against latest smartphone including Intex Aqua Style, Karbonn Titanium S1 Plus and the Asus Zenfone 4 A450CG. The Lava Iris 400Q can be bought right now via online retail site Homeshop18.

Lava Iris 400Q: Key Specifications

The Lava Iris 400Q sports a 4-inch touch screen display offering a resolution of 800 × 480 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor couped with 1GB of RAM and it runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS, which is one of the highly used version of Android in India off late.

The latest offering from Lava houses 4GB internal memory, which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. In the imaging front, there is a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3MP (VGA) front-facing shooter.

Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS and additionally, users will also get a dual SIM support with Dual Standby mode. It is powered by a 1700 mAh battery.

The latest offering from Lava comes with a similar hardware composition as the ones that are being launched in India at the moment, it might not gain much popularity in a short time, like the Motorola Moto E received.

Moreover, with the advent of the Chinese smartphone manufacturers entering the market, it would be even tougher for the domestic vendors to churn out the maximum sales from the sub-continent. For instance, the Xiaomi Redmi 1S which has been launched at the price of Rs. 5,999 has immense potential to beat most of the sub Rs. 8,000 range smartphone from Indian vendors.
