Lava Iris 405+: 4 Inch Dual SIM Smartphone To Be Announced Soon
Android-powered budget handsets are here to stay in India despite the invasion of high-end monster phones running on other platforms.
To start the New Year with a bang, Lava International, will soon announce its yet another phone featuring ultra-low specs.
The Lava Iris 405+ appears to be a destined sequel to the Iris 405, which was launched back in May. The phone has been spotted on Flipkart with undisclosed retail price.

However, there are no updates available in respect to retail availability or actual price.
As the name suggests, Lava Iris 405+ is an enhanced version of Iris 405. The phone does come with 3G connectivity and dual SIM functionality. Also, the Iris 405+ incorporates a 4.0-inch display having a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels.
Android 4.2 Jelly Bean comes out of the box. Under the hood, the handset boasts of a 1.3GHz dual-core processor, backed by 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory which can be expanded via a microSD card slot.
On the imaging front, there's a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with Auto Focus and LED Flash. Also, add a VGA quality front-facing camera given on the front. Moreover, the device weighs 9 mm in terms of thickness and weighs 127grams.
The makers have added a 1,400mAh battery fitted inside. Other connectivity options include: Bluetooth with A2DP, FM Radio, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, and more.
The Lava Iris 405+ should be priced under Rs.6,000 in the Indian market.
Back in November, Lava launched the Lava Iris 456 in India. The low-cost phone features 4.5-inch FWVGA (480 x 854) IPS display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 5MP rear-facing camera and a 1650mAh battery inside.

Karbonn A15+
The Karbonn A15+ features a 4.0-inch TFT display having a resolution of 480 × 800 pixels.
The handset is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor (MT6572) coupled with 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal memory (expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card slot).
There's a 5-megapixel front facing camera, but unfortunately no front-facing camera. The handset comes with a Dual SIM (3G+ 2G) support with dual standby. The makers have added a 1500mAh battery fitted inside. The device is now available at a price point of Rs. 5,890.
