Lava Iris 430 vs Micromax Superfone A90S Pixel: Which Should You Buy?
From the advent of 2013, it seems like the India based manufacturers have taken an oath to launch more and more devices into the country. Lava is one of the vendors, who is splashing the consumers with new smartphones every week under its Blockbuster Phoneday scheme.
The latest Lava smartphone, which has kicked off the competition among the budget Android ICS offerings in the country is Iris 430. It was Gizbot to cover the exclusive information of Iris 430's price at Rs 7,549.
From the launch pattern of Lava, it can be said that the company is targeting the same of Micromax, which also aims to release more devices into the market. Analyzing the specs of Iris 430, it can be said that the handset will be stiff competitor to all the dual SIM ICS smartphones out there.
However, as Micromax and Lava are competing the smartphone space in India, it is wise to compare the Lava handset with the 4.3 inch offering from Micromax - A90S Pixel, which also possesses some similar traits. A90S Pixel has been launched in the market a few months back at Rs 12,999.

For those readers looking to buy a dual SIM dual core Android ICS smartphones that does create a hole in the pocket, here is a comparison between Lava Iris 430 and Micromax Superfone A90S Pixel. Lets take a look at the spec comparison of these handsets below!
Form Factor: While the weight of Iris 430 remains unknown, the handset measures 130 x 67 x 10.55 mm in dimensions. Obviously, Iris 430 is thicker than A90S Pixel measuring 127.2 x 66.8 x 9.8 mm and weighing around 118 grams.

Camera: Iris 430 has a 5MP rear camera with LED flash, autofocus, Panorama Mode and HDR and a VGA front camera for video calling.
On the other hand, A90S comes with superior features as it packs an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front camera for video calling purposes.
Storage: Both A90S Pixel and Iris 430 come with 4GB internal storage, 512MB RAM and a micro SD card slot supporting up to 32GB additional storage.
Connectivity: When it comes to internet connectivity, both A90S Pixel and Iris 430 seem to have average connectivity speeds with Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth, GPS with A-GPS and micro USB 2.0.
Battery: Iris 430 is loaded with a 1,500 mAh Li-Ion battery delivering up to 4.9 hours talk time and 390 hours standby. On the other hand, A90S Pixel is powered by a 1,600 mAh Li-Ion battery with up to 5 hours talk time and 180 hours standby.
Other Features: Lava Iris 430 is preloaded with applications including Google, Gmail, YouTube, Google Talk, Fusion, Asphalt6, Saving Private Sheep and more. At the same time, A90S Pixel is loaded with apps such as M!Store, M!Buddy, M!SMS, M!Zone and Hook Up.
Price: While Lava Iris 430 is priced at Rs 7,549, A90S Pixel costs Rs 12,341.
Verdict
Analyzing the specs, A90S Pixel boasts a superior display and better camera for its high price tag. On the other hand, the Lava smartphone comes at a reasonable price of Rs 7,549 and an enhanced backup.
