Lava Iris 450 Colour Featuring Swappable Covers Launched For Rs 7,999
Indian smartphone vendor Lava has been releasing a number of handsets off late in the market and now the company's new budget-friendly handset has hit the official site of the company with a price tag on it. The device comes dubbed as Iris 450 Colour and it is priced at Rs. 7,999. Now the handset can be expected to hit the stores soon.
The best part of the device is that it comes with a swappable back panels, which come in five different colors viz. Blue, Pink, Brown, Black and White. This is not the first time the device has appeared online but it had come to our notice last week when the company posted the device on its official site but then the site didn't carry any specifications of the device.

In terms of specs, the Iris 450 Colour smartphone Lava features a 4.5-inch IPS display offering a resolution of 480×854 pixels.

It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM. It comes flavored with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS.
There is a native storage capacity of 4GB, which can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card.
The device has a 5 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 720p video recording capability while on the front it has a 0.3MP VGA snapper.
The connectivity options include 3G, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Additionally the handset also features a Dual SIM (WCDMA + GSM, (Dual Standby)) support.
Lastly, the company packs in a Li Ion 1800mAh battery that promises to deliver talk time of over 9 hours on 2G and around 8 hours on 3G.
The smartphone's key feature is the changeable back panels, which comes in multiple colors. It makes the users make their devices look new and suit to their fashion. Moreover, the advantage also lies in the affordable price of the handset.
Lava has included a nominal specs in the device and this handset can easily come in contrast with Nokia's Asha series and the Nokia X as well. Other devices which might rival against the handset comes from other domestic vendors like Micromax, iBall, Intex, Karbonn and more.
