Lava Iris 460 With Android KitKat and Dual SIM Support Launched at Rs 6,690

Just a day ago, Indian smrtphone maker Lava launched its Iris 400Q handset in the domestic market at the price of the just Rs. 5,499. Yet again the company has released a new handset called the Iris 460 at Rs. 6,690.

Announced back in July, the company says the Lava Iris 460 is available at major retailers across the country.

Lava Iris 460: Key Specifications

The Lava Iris 460 comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS display offering a resolution of 480x854 pixels and churns out the pixel density of 217ppi. It is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS.

Lava Iris 460 With Android KitKat and Dual SIM Support Launched

The Iris 460 sports a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, and at the front face of the phone there is a 0.3-megapixel front-facing VGA snapper.

The smartphone includes 4GB of inbuilt storage which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). Connectivity options include: GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and Micro-USB options. Additionally, it is a dual-SIM (GSM+WCDMA) smartphone.
The smartphone houses 8GB of internal memory, which is further expandable up to 32GB with microSD card.

The Iris 460 draws its energy from a 1650mAh Li-ion battery which is said to offer up to 3 hours of talk time and up to 250 hours of standby time on 3G network. The smartphone is currently available in Black and Grey color variants and what makes the phone a bit more premium feel is the faux-leather back cover, which the company says is 'handcrafted.'

The Iris 460 is yet again, a unique proposition for the young generation."
