LAVA International Limited, one of the fastest growing company in the mobile handset industry, has unveiled its newest Iris Pro 30+. The handset is an upgraded version of the Iris Pro 30 launched earlier this year in January.
The Iris Pro 30+, as the official press release states, takes the Iris Pro series proposition forward by promising a fusion of best in class aesthetics with top notch hardware specifications to the customers.
Commenting on the launch of Iris Pro 30+, Mr. Navin Chawla, Vice President -Product, Lava International Limited said "We are pleased to take forward our proposition of ‘We put the Art in Smart' for our Iris Pro series with the launch of Iris Pro 30+."
"Based on customer preferences backed by our research, we have introduced enhancements in camera, processor and internal memory to deliver an excellent experience to the customers."
The new smartphone, launched at Rs 11,999, comes with a 4.7-inch 720p display. It is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor. And alongside 1GB RAM, it is packed with 16GB of internal storage that is expandable to 32 GB.
The Iris Pro 30+ sports a 13-megapixel rear camera as opposed to the 8-megapixel in Iris Pro 30 and a 3-megapixel front camera with BSI II sensor having a size of 1/3.2 inch and 1.1 micron Omni BSI-II pixel architecture that helps capture images in low-light.
The Iris Pro 30+ runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box. On the connectivity front, it is 3G enabled and supports EDGE, GPRS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB and OTG Connectivity. It is powered by a 2,000mAh battery, which the company claims, offers up to 9 hours of talktime.
But while that takes care of the specs and details, what are the features present in the phone apart from the camera? We take a look at the top 5.
The new Iris Pro 30+ is powered by 1.5GHz quad-core processor. Alongside that, you will find 1GB of RAM. So that's quite the processing speed that you will need to get the job done.
The handset is also packed with 16GB of internal storage that is expandable to 32 GB. And any one with the slightest knowledge of smartphones will know that such an offering is quite a lot.
While 4G services still require a bit of time before it can finally fully hit the Indian handsets, 3G is doing a decent enough speed of offering faster internet. And the Iris Pro 30+ supports the 3G capabilities.
The Lava Iris Pro 30+ features quite the massive battery. A 2000mAh unit to be precise. That means you get more juice on the go between travelling.
The Lava Iris Pro 30+ has been priced at just Rs. 11,999 that's quite affordable when the handset is offering you so many features. Most in its range don't even meet up the expectations in the features and specs list.
