Followed by the launch of the entry level smartphones, premium brand Lava has launched two smartphone under the Iris line-up. Lava has launched Iris X1 Mini and Iris X1 Grand, under the budget segment, which is likely to go on sale around first week of February.

Lava Iris X1 Mini - Key specifications
Lava Iris X1 Mini sports a 4-inch IPS display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. It is clocked at 1.2 GHz quad-core processor alongside 512MB of RAM. Further on, it comes with 4GB of internal memory, which can be expandable up to 32GB via microSD slot.
On the imaging factor, it features a 5MP rear camera with LED Flash, PureCel Sensor, VGA front camera and runs on Android 4.4.2 (KitKat).
Moving on to the connectivity, this dual SIM smartphone supports 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio and fueled by 1750mAh battery.
Lava Iris X1 Grand - Key specifications
Lava Iris X1 Grand comes with 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. This device is packed with 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor and Mali-400 GPU along with 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot, 8MP rear camera with dual LED Flash, BSI 2 Sensor, 2MP front-facing camera.
On the software platform, it runs on Android 4.4.2 (KitKat), can be upgraded to Android 5.0 Lollipop. Additionally, the dual SIM handset supports connectivity options like 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio and it is powered by a 2200mAh battery.
Coming in Ink Black, White-silver and White-Gold colors, Lava Iris X1 mini is priced at Rs. 4,348 and the other variant Iris X1 Grand is available for Rs. 7,326 in White with Silver, White with Gold and Black. Additionally, X1 grand will get a Flip cover.
