Lava Iris X1 Review: Battery Life and Verdict
The Lava Iris X1 comes with an on-board 1800mAh battery unit. That's quite a decent number, we have to say, in terms of its price and other overall specs.
For us, the battery panned out somewhat well. We did manage to churn out some 8 and half or 9 hours with it via mixed usage. Of course, this mixed usage included playing a few titles, texting a lot of people, making and receiving calls, watching a number of YouTube videos and surfing the web.

Before testing the device's battery out, we had imagined that an 1800mAh unit won't last really long after using it extensively. However, we have to say that the device will do well just on a single charge for the day.

The Lava Iris X1 is a value for money device, provided you are not willing to go beyond the 10k price segment. If you have a budget for it, and if you still find the Moto E out of stocks, this could be a great alternative.

The Lava Iris X1 is priced at Rs 7,999 and is only available via Amazon for now. And for 1k more, you are getting more features than that of the Moto E. This includes a bigger display, a front snapper and even a rear snapper that comes with dual LED flash.

On an overall, the device may not have that X factor if it's to challenge the Moto E successfully, but the device does have a good looking build and a few more features that make it a good choice in its price range.
