Lava Iris X1 Review: Processor and Benchmark
The Lava Iris X1 comes powered by a Broadcom (BCM23550) quad-core chipset, running at 1.2GHz. There's also 1GB of RAM to accompany the handset to maintain the speed while doing everything that's possible via the device. The device runs on the stock Android 4.4.2 KitKat and there's some 500MB of RAM that's free for you to install apps anytime you want.

While those are just numbers to deal with, does the device actually deliver per expectations in real life? Well, you will be happy to know that it actually does. Of course, you might come across a bit of "hang" or slowing down once in a while, but it shouldn't be anything major as such.

We already played a few games on it such as Plants Vs Zombies 2 and Badlands. But nowhere did we notice that big an issue with slowing down of apps or the device. The one time it did happen, however, can be negligible.
As far as benchmarks scores are concerned, we let AnTuTu give us a few numbers. According to it, the Iris X1 scores 14,751 points that's good for supporting most apps, and will support games fluently.

Anyway, you won't find much problems dealing with the system inside the Iris X1. Moreover, it will be enough for you for conducting all your daily work that you need to conduct via a smartphone.
