Lava Launches Iris 401e and Spark 245 Online at Rs 4249 And Rs 1545

Indian mobile phone manufacturer Lava has now introduced two entry level handsets. Lava is one of the domestic brands that offer best devices in best prices. The tow Lava handsets called Lava Iris 401e and Lava Spark 245 are also listed on flipkart at Rs. 4,249 and Rs. 1,545 respectively.

Concentrating on the specs, the first one is the continuation to the Iris series and comes with the 4 inch capacitive touchscreen display with the picture resolution of 480 x 800 pixels while the Spark 245 comes with the 2.4 Inches TFT display with QVGA resolution of 320 x 240 pixels.

Both Lava Iris 401e and Lava Spark 245 features a dual SIM support like most of the domestic handsets.

Lava Iris 401e is powered by 1 GHz processor and it runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and is supported by 256 MB RAM. The Spark 245 on the other hand is a feature phone with a 32 MB RAM.

There is a 3 megapixel rear camera on the Lava Iris 401e while Lava Spark 245 has a 1.3 MP rear camera. However both lacks front facing camera.

Storage-wise, Iris 401e houses an internal users memory of 200MB whcuih can be enhanced further up to 32 GB via microSD while Spark 245 features 128 MB ROM with the same 32 GB microSD card support.

Regarding connectivity, Lava Iris 401e features WiFi, Bluetooth and 2G support while Spark 245 comes with GPRS, WAP and Bluetooth.

Users can enjoy several pre loaded applications such as WeChat, Saavn, Dragon Hunter, Dragon Hunter, Opera mini browser, Space off, Ninja Rush and Lava Zone etc. on the Iris 401e which is powered by 1500 mAh battery. The Lava Iris 401e is available in blue and grey colors.

Lava Spark 245 comes with Voice Recording, Games, English and Hindi Language Support, Alarm, Calculator, World Clock, Auto Call Recording Folder Wise, Calendar, Stopwatch and the special feature is that it comes with Google+ app. This handset which comes in Grey color is powered by a Li-Ion, 1100 mAh Battery.

Both the devices comes with a 1 year manufacturer warranty for phone and 6 month warranty on accessories. Flipkart also offers free free home delivery of the handset along with cash on delivery and 30 Day replacement guarantee. The online retailer claims that the handset will be delivered within 2-3 business days from the day of placing the order.
