Lava Arc 8c, Arc 3 Launched Below Rs 1800 to Smash the Feature Phone Market in India
Lava International, the India based manufacturer has been making rounds in the tech media stirring the interest of the consumers regarding its offerings. The company follows the tradition of device launched on Friday every week claiming it as the Blockbuster Phoneday campaign.
Of course, Lava seems to know the tactics of grabbing the consumers' attention, as it does not fail to tease the offerings ahead of launch on its official Facebook page. This week also, Lava has been teasing audience on the same, claiming that it will bang this week with budget offerings.

However, disappointingly, while the consumers were looking forward to own quad core handsets priced competitively, Lava has added a couple of feature phones to its existing Arc lineup. Arc 8c and Arc 3, the new offerings of Lava has been criticized by consumers on its Facebook page as well regarding these handsets.
However, Lava claims that Arc 8c and Arc 3 are power-packed with features and heavy performance and are all set to splash the low cost mobile space predominantly occupied by Samsung, Micromax and others.
Talking about specifications, Arc 8c boasts a 2.2 inch display with a resolution of 220 x 176 pixels, 0.3MP rear camera, FM Radio, micro SD card slot supporting up to 8GB storage and an 1,000 battery delivering 5 hours talk time. The handset seems to be single SIM device with CDMA support.
On the other hand, the GSM offering - Arc 3 comes with similar specifications as Arc 8. However, Lava has not shared any details of Arc 3's specs and price. Within a day of launch, Arc 8c is available online on Flipkart at a price of Rs 1,799.
