Leaked Images Show Finger Print Scanner On Upcoming HTC Max One Phablet
If these leaked images (in the slider below) are to be believed, then the much-awaited HTC One Max will ship with a finger print scanner this Autumn. The news comes only days after the iPhone launch event at which Apple revealed that its new iPhone 5S will use a Touch ID Print Reader.
We've already seen the HTC One Max in several leaked photos in the past. This fresh batch of leaks adds weight to rumors that the phablet will feature a fingerprint scanner on its rear. The pictures first made an appearance on Chinese social network Weibo and were picked up by Dutch website Mobileaks.
After going through the pictures, we learned that the handset has been nicknamed HTC 8088. The phablet is expected to use a 5.9 inch Full HD Display. On its inside, it will use a quad-core 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor along with 2GB of RAM. For internal storage there's 16GB of storage with options for expansion via a microSD slot. It will use a 3300mAh battery. And then there's the infamous UltraPixel snapper and Android 4.3 is out of the box. The handset will support GSM and LTE. There are even rumors that the device might even come with a stylus like the phablets from Samsung's Note range.
We expected HTC to launch the tablet at IFA 2013 Berlin, but that didn't happen. Word has it that we should expect HTC to launch the device sometime later this month. Go through the slider below for the leaked images.
