You must be wondering that there might be various changes in the plus models as Motorola did in its Moto E 2nd Gen smartphones, well not really! Lenovo A6000 Plus has minor changes made in it. It simply offers more multimedia storage and operating RAM storage and the smartphone also comes equipped with dual speakers which use Dolby Digital Plus sound technology.

Design And Display:

The A6000 Plus doesn't look so different from the A6000 but, Lenovo has made some slight tweaks on it. The A6000 Plus measures 141mm x 70mm x 8.2mm and weighs 128g. The A6000 Plus does offer replaceable back covers and they are available in- Yellow, Red, Black and white.

As usual we don't expect a complete metal body at this price range but the phone has a complete smooth finish, seems to be quite sturdy and beautifully crafted.

The display too remains same with a 5 Inch IPS LCD panel, embellished with 1280 x 720p HD sharpness, compact and good enough for the price. The 5-Inch display is characterized with ample brightness and good viewing angles.

Processor And RAM:

Lenovo A6000 Plus is running 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 410 quad core processor, which is a trendy low cost 64 bit SoC based on Cortex A53 cores. There is no Lollipop yet to take advantage of 64 bit code and ARMv8 architecture, but sources reveal that Lenovo is working on a material design update.

RAM capacity has been increased to 2 GB for better multitasking and assurance of durable performance in the long run. For the price tag, it is a very fine chipset.

Camera And Internal Storage:

The rear camera is the same 8 MP rear shooter which we saw in Lenovo A6000. It is a decent camera when compared to other 8 MP mid-range smartphones. You can record 720p videos and shoot selfies from the front 2 MP camera.

Image quality hasn't been improoved though, as we expect to see better in the A7000. The phone takes decent photos in good light, but isn't able to capture much details during indoor shoots.

Internal storage has been increased from 8 MP to 16 MP, and there is option for 32 GB MicroSD card expansion too. Apps can be transferred to SD card as well.

The enhancement in the both the areas can easily be felt as there's now more space for multimedia storage and also the multi-tasking experience has improved quite significantly.

Which is comparitively good for a smartphone with an affordable price tag.

Operating System:

The dual-SIM device runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box with the company's own Vibe 2.0 skin on top, which is quite impressing. There a couple of apps come pre-installed, for instance, Guvera: a streaming music app.

Lenovo A6000 Plus is selling like hot cakes, for an extra 500 buck the smartphone is an exciting offer but many of us would prefer the A7000 instead as it has Lollipop and other rich features.
