Lenovo K3 Note Smartphone Launched With 5.5-inch FHD Display
Lenovo has been making waves in the budget handset segment for quite some time and according to the latest report, they've got a new feather in their cap.
The tech giant on Monday launched the K3 Note, a large screen sized phablet that's set to be made available in China shortly. The launch of Lenovo's K3 Note, which starts at $145 (Rs. 9,135), is challenging the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G.

Premium devices from the likes of Apple and Samsung sell for around $700 (Rs. 44,100). Price is a key to Lenovo's success in emerging markets.
The Lenovo K3 Note is basically a response to the Redmi Note 4G, but the focus on redefined specifications will help the firm to achieve success in the mid-end segment.
In terms of specifications, the K3 Note sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display. It also has an octa-core MediaTek MT6752 coupled with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage, a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter, and a large 3,000mAh batter fitted inside. Like any other traditional mid-end handset, the Lenovo K3 Note offers 4G LTE connectivity.
On the software side, the handset runs Android, but the company has yet to mention which version of Android will be on board out of the box.
With these specs and aggressive pricing, the new Lenovo K3 Note is shaping up as a strong competitor to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G, but it remains to be seen whether it will be as affordable when it reaches other territories, including India.
