Lenovo’s Next High-Smartphone to use Snapdragon 800 processor; Alleged Pictures Surfaces
The world's largest PC maker is said to be making a high-end sartphone with Snapdragon 800 processor inside. Reportedly, the forthcoming high-end phone from Lenovo recently made its appearance in Chinese forums( via Leiphone). Last week, the same phone was spotted with the name X910. It was also said that the phone could be the successor to highly popular K900.

The specifications are not different from Lenovo X910. It is suspected that Lenovo is yet to decide the final naming scheme. Apparently, the X6 has Snapdragon MSM8974 chipset. Going by the leaked image, the display size of the handset appears to be roughly around 5-inches (1920 x 1080 pixels). Talking about the design, Lenovo went for tried and tested formula.
The Lenovo K6 will be a mash up of policarbonate plastic and stainless steel. Talking about original K900 construction, especially, the stainless steel rear back won many hearts. This much is known about the device , as of now. IFA Berlin is around the corner and like other vendors Lenovo also like to announce this very device. Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 is the most advance processor at the moment. Two of the world's most popular handsets - HTC One and the Samsung Galaxy S4 comes with Snapdragon 600 processor. So technically speaking, Lenovo's forthcoming handset should be superior in every respect.
In the coming days, major tech vendors have planned to announce their respective handsets powered by Snapdragon 800 processor. One among them, LG has already planned to announce G2 handset on August in New York City. It will feature a 5.2-inch Full HD display alongside fingerprint sensor on the rear back. Another South Korean giant Samsung is also said to announce an International version of Galaxy S4 with Snapdragon 800 processor. Japan's biggest consumer electronics company Sony is all set to launch Xperia Z Ultra in India. The monster phablet device features same Qualcomm chipset. Stay tuned to GizBot
