Lenovo Vibe X Up for Pre-Orders at Rs 25,999

Chinese Lenovo has already launched their latest Vibe X 'premium' handset in the Indian market last week. Now the same device which comes with a polycarbonate body and an advanced mold, laser-engraved 3D tactile finish, has hit the online retailer Flipkart. However, the smartphone which is priced at Rs. 25,999 is not yet on sale but one can pre-order the device from the aforementioned e-commerce site at the same price.

The company claims that the device is just the first one inaugurating the Vibe X series. Which means that the company will launch at least around 6 devices in the coming year in the same series. Thus it seems Lenovo is going to hit the mid-range market with a big bang in the upcoming year. Moreover, there could some special device that could get showcased in the CES 2014 next month as well. Apart from that even MCW wouldn't be missed by the Chinese company.

Said that, let us refresh the specs of the Lenovo Vibe X device. The handset comes with 5.0 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display offering a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and 441 ppi pixel density. Moreover, it is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

The handset is powered by a Mediatek MT6589T Quad-core Cortex A7 processor clocked to 1.5 GHz coupled with PowerVR SGX544MP2 graphics and 2 GB RAM. The smartphone runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS.

The best part of the handset is the 13 MP rear camera which is capable of shooting pictures at 4128 x 3096 pixels. It is accompanied by autofocus and LED flash. At the front-face of the handset there is a 5 MP wide angle lens.
Connectivity options are quite regular with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, AGPS and 3G support.

The handset comes with a 16GB of onboard storage capacity. It has Gravitation, Proximity, Light, and E-Compass sensors as well.
The smartphone has a premium polycarbonate body and an advanced mold, laser-engraved 3D tactile finish, as said earlier. It measures 144x74x6.9mm which makes it a super thin handset and weighs 121 grams. The device draws its energy from a 2,000mAh battery.

Apart from all these, the device has some interesting features like smart dialer, various camera applications along also GIF support.
