Lenovo Vibe X2 With Android Lollipop to Launch at IFA 2014 On September 4

The recent teaser that has appeared online comes from Chinese smartphone maker Lenovo and the device which it hints at is the most rumored Vibe X2 smartphone. The teaser reveals an event slated for September 4th, a day ahead of the commencement of the IFA 2014.

Another fascinating piece of information that the teaser image boasts of is a lollipop in the center, which could probably be the symbolic manifestation of the Android version 5.0.
Hilariously, a line that has been mentioned in the teaser is somewhat related to an ironic reference to Apple's invite. To be precise, Apple's September 9 invite reads, "Wish we could say more" and the one from Lenovo reads, "We can't say anything either."
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet blockquote" data-cards="hidden" lang="en"><p>We can't say anything either. <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/VIBEX2?src=hash">#VIBEX2</a> <a href="http://t.co/ywIpUWAFCz">pic.twitter.com/ywIpUWAFCz</a></p>— Lenovo VIBE (@Lenovo_VIBE) <a href="https://twitter.com/Lenovo_VIBE/statuses/505360696088219648">August 29, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>The specs of the Lenovo Vibe X2 have not been formalized at the moment, but if referred to the past leaks and rumors, you can expect the handset to come with a 5-inch full-HD display. It would be powered by a 2.2GHz dual-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM, 32GB inbuilt storage, 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and a 5MP front-facing camera.
Moreover, the handset is said to be launched in two variants as far as the processor is concerned: the X2-CU will be powered by a MediaTek MT6596M octa-core processor and the second variant, X2-TO would use a 2.2GHz dual-core processor. Both these devices are said to be fueled by a 2, 250mAh battery.
Anyways, the information mentioned above are not fully reliable and the company always has the tendency of making last minute changes in the products. So, you can hold on to the aforementioned configurations until the device is unveiled at the September 4th event in Berlin, Germany, later this week. Until then, stay tuned to GizBot!
