Lenovo Vibe X2 With Octa-Core Chipset to Launch in India on 6 November

Soon after launching the metal body featuring Vibe Z2 Pro in India, now Lenovo is quite ready to launch its new device in the Vibe range. Called the Lenovo Vibe X2, the Chinese smartphone maker's first octa-core powered smartphone will be launched in India precisely on November 6th.

Lenovo has already started sending out invite for the event where the Vibe X2 will be launched in India. However, the company has not revealed any other details on the pricing and availability of the handset. The invitation simply reads, "Save the Date."

Lenovo Vibe X2: Key Specification

The Lenovo Vibe X2 sports a 5.0-inch wide-view FHD display offering a Full HD resolution of 1920x1080pixels.

It is powered by a MediaTek MT6595m 4G LTE 2.0GHz True8Core processor coupled with 2GB RAM. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS. The smartphone houses 32GB of ROM.

Connectivity options include: 4G LTE; FDD Band 1,3,7,20, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi hotspot, and Bluetooth 4.0. The device will also be launched in Dual SIM variant for Asian market and other market will receive a singe SIM model.

The latest offering from Lenovo comes with a 13MP auto-focus rear camera with LED Flash and at the front there is a 5MP fixed-focus front facing shooter.

The Lenovo Vibe X2 comes with a 140.2 X 68.6 X 7.27mm dimension and is powered by a 2300mAh Li-polymer battery. According to the company the battery will offer the talk time up to 17 hours on 2G network and 19 hours on 3G and 19.5 hours on 4G. If offers standby time of up to 9.5 days (2G), 9 days (3G) and 7.5 days (4G).

To further personalize and amplify the mobile experience, Lenovo has also introduced two new innovative click-on accessories, known as Vibe Xtensions, that work seamlessly with the Vibe X2.

Although, it is not sure at what price Lenovo will be selling the new phone in India, but if we were to take the hint from the US price than $399 would roughly translate to Rs 24,300.
