Lenovo Vibe Z Officially Launched in India at Rs 35,999: 5 Best Features

After having enjoyed the success of its latest Vibe X smartphone in the Indian market, Chinese smartphone maker, at an event today in Bangalore, introduced its another high-end device called the Vibe Z. The device will be made available in the market at the price of Rs. 35,999 by the last week of February or by March 1.

Vibe Z was announced back in November 2013, and was made available in the U.S. market within the same month. Now the handset has already shipped into the Indian market.

The smartphone comes with a bit larger 5.5 inch display compared to the 5 inch of Vibe X. Moreover, in terms of looks, the Vibe X comes with a rounded corners as opposed to the Vibe Z's which features more of a "squarish" shape.

The Vibe Z comes with a very potential combination of hardwares. First of all, it features a Full HD 5.5 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display which churns out a pixel density of 401 ppi pixel density. It is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

As opposed to the Vibe X, the latest one comes with the most trendy and powerful Qualcomm chipset, the Snapdragon 800 which is a quad core SoC clocked at 2.2GHz. There is also the presence of Adreno 330 graphic unit which will give a great gaming experience to the device. Also add a 2 GB of RAM. It runs on Android OS, v4.3 (Jelly Bean) OS.

The top-class Vibe Z from Lenovo also features a massive 13 MP rear camera with autofocus, f1.8 aperture lens and LED flash, which is capable of shooting pictures at 4128 x 3096 pixels quality. On the front, the 5 MP front camera that's equipped with an 84° lens for wide-angle shots will be easy for taking selfies and making video calls.

In the connectivity section, it features GPRS, SPEED, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB and 3G. Also adding to the surprise the handset is 4G LTE supported device and is already compatible with most of the LTE network around in European countries and other 4G supporting countries. The device will be available in India in 16 GB storage variant. However, there is no microSD card slot.

The Multi-window feature can be turned on in the settings menu, where users can select any two applications on the same screen.
