Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro Started Receiving Android 5.0 Lollipop Update in India

    China-based handset manufacturer, Lenovo has started rolling out Android 5.0 Lollipop update for its Vibe Z2 Pro users in the Indian market.

    This Lollipop update comes with 1.23GB in size, and it is available over-the-air and can be manually checked by going to Settings > About Phone > System update.

    Reiterating the specifications, Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro sports a 6-inch display with 1440x2560 pixels. It is powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 along with 3GB RAM. Moving on, it has 32GB of internal storage, without any expansion option.

    On the camera, it has 16MP rear camera with LED flash and 5MP front camera. This device runs on Android 4.4 on top of Vibe UI. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth.

    Lollipop update comes with new material design which offers a bold, colorful and responsive UI, refreshing notification system.

    It will also allow the users to see the notification in the lock screen and they will get displayed like banners on the top of the screen.

    Additionally, there is a do-not-disturb feature added to the notification bar. This update also contains battery optimization, which includes battery saver mode, job scheduling and a new developer tool called Battery Historian which tracks the battery consumption by an application.
