LeTV One Pro: All You Need To Know About The Bezel-less Smartphone

A little known Chinese video streaming company LeTV recently revealed three ‘superphones', the LeTV One, the One Pro and the One Max, targeted at different segments.

Notably, all three launched phones support USB 3.1 Type C interface, which are the first smartphones featuring Type C standard in the world. The new USB interface will replace the current Micro USB standard.

Not just that, all these phones pack great specifications too. For instance, the LeTV One Pro comes with a 5.5-inch Quad HD, Snapdragon 810 system chip, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of in-built storage, a 13-megapixel OIS camera, and an ‘UltraPixel' selfie shooter.

The LeTV One Pro has a $400 or about Rs. 25,200 price tag and will be made available in China soon.

The One Pro is an impressively powerful phone, with a 64-bit quad-core Snapdragon 810 processor, which has four cores clocked at 2.0GHz and the other four clocked at 1.5GHz. The phone is running Google's Android with LeTV's native UI on top.

The latest OnePro model is supported by a 4MP front-facing shooter with a large F/2.0 aperture and 2.0um pixels, 81 degrees super wide angle 5P lens. On the rear-back, you'll notice Sony's 13MP sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and dual tone dual LEDs.

The USB Type C connectivity that recently debuted on Apple's new MacBook has finally landed on a smartphone. And, the LeTV One Pro will ship with the Type C connectivity. Unlike Micro USB, Type C tips are reversible. This means that you can plug in a Type C connection either way up, similar to Apple's lighting connectivity.

LeTV One Pro - Price and availability

The One Pro model will cost 2499 Yuan or about $400 for 32 GB model, while the 64GB model will cost you as low as $435. Both variants will be made available in China starting at May 5. If reports are to be believed, LeTV could enter the Indian handset market by the end of 2015.
