One of the most important electronics events in the year 2012, which is the Consumer electronics show, is only a week away. The event will be conducted from January 10 -13 in Las Vegas. The expectations are mounting and there are lot of devices that may get the media spot light.
Most of the devices that are going to make an appearance there has been found out by the gadget world but there are some unannounced last minute entries as well. Thanks to the leaks that are coming out the gadget fans have been able to get a wind of some of the last minute entries also and more information is expected to flow in during the coming days.
The latest news is that of LG Connect 4G. The phone is expected to be a 4G LTE device. Some pictures have been leaked and it shows a very simple device. The design won’t stand out when compared to other contemporary mobile phone designs. Only some of the specs of the device are available as for now.
Expected features and specifications of LG Connect 4G:
- 4 Inch display
- WVGA NOVA display type
- Dual-core processor
- 5 mega pixel camera in rear
- Secondary front facing VGA camera
- 1 GB system memory
- 4 GB internal storage
- MicroSD card slot
Even when it is said to be a 4G LTE device, its model number MS840 seems out of place. This model number looks like of lower-end when compared to other LG phones. This invites doubts for the performance and other specs of the device.
The handset is also said to be provided under the name VS840 through Verizon. Some more leaks point out that the CDMA carrier Sprint is going to make this model its first LTE device.
This is a very good thing to see the CDMA network providers stepping on to LTE segment. So the phone can be expected to make more rounds among other CDMA carriers. There is no information regarding the release date of the device. The price of the device is also not clear. More information about LG Connect 4G MS840 can be expected in the coming days or at the very least during the Consumer electronics show.
