LG F70 With 4G LTE, 5MP CMOS Camera Now Available In India: Top 10 Smartphone Rivals To Consider

LG F70, the budget 4G LTE smartphone, is now available in the country at just Rs. 18,499. Originally launched at this year's Mobile World Congress (MWC), the mid-range 4G LTE phone can be purchased in India under Rs. 20,000.

With the launch of F70, LG is now counted among the few handset manufacturers to launch an LTE-enabled handset in India. While, last week this very handset got listed online via LG's official India website at Rs. 19,500, now it is already available for purchase via online retailer Infibeam.

Just for your knowledge, LG is already retailing its G2 and the G Pro 2 handset with 4G LTE connectivity. Both the handsets are priced on a higher side.

LG F70 - Key Specifications

The LG F70 features a 4.5-inch (800 x 400 pixels) IPS display and is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, coupled with 1GB RAM. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS. On the imaging front, there's a 5MP rear camera, and a 0.3MP (VGA) quality front-facing shooter. The LG F70 comes packed with a 4GB internal memory which can be expandable up to 32GB with microSD. The handset measures 127.5 x 66.4 x 9.95 mm and weighs in at 129.6.

Other connectivity options are as follow: LTE/ 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and NFC support and a 2,440 mAh battery fitted inside. Talking about the LTE feature, the F70 comes with TD-LTE support and will work on Airtel 4G networks.

LG F70- Key Competitors

The only advantage of getting the LG F70 is that it has got supported by super fast LTE connection. The device will face tough competition from the likes of the Gionee Elife S5.5, Micromax Canvas Gold, Sony Xperia M2, amongst others.
