LG Flip II Preview: A Tech-Monster From LG
Today we are used to getting info about various devices months ahead of its scheduled release by its manufacturer. This saga was predominantly due to the rising power of internet. Social networking and communication have also increased as the internet fever is spreading. LG has started making noise in the market with the expected launch of some innovative models in the market.

Today we take a small look at one such phone from LG that has been doing the rounds in the Internet for quite a while now. The model is none other than the LG Flip II.

The new LG phone is without a doubt one of the most futuristic phones that will ever be launched commercially in the near future. Anybody can make out this on the first glance itself. The new LG Smartphone features a unique dual display that includes the normal touch screen interface along with a small display interface packed neatly in the LG Flip II"s sliding physical QWERTY keypad. The secondary display at the centre of the keypad features Quick launch shortcuts for 8 apps as shown in the image.

The dual display control feature will enable users to access multiple applications at the same time without having to return to the home screen for every attempt. The phone bears similarities with certain LG Optimus series of phones in areas such as the speaker"s head and the four neatly arranged buttons found below the large main touch screen display. The rear of the LG Flip II features a camera but the pixel rating is not known, however it does indicate an LED flash.

There are rumours regarding the specs of the LG Flip II in the internet such as it will support 3G video calling and will come equipped with Bluetooth 3.0 and Wi-Fi connectivity. The camera of the phone is also touted to feature 1080p video recording capability. Another rumour has it that the phone will feature a superfast dual core processor. Going by the look of the interface, the LG Flip II seems to be running on a version of the Android OS.

However LG has kept tight lipped about the phone. And as such there is no official word regarding the specs of the phone or its anticipated release date. But as many phones have in the past have turned out, the LG phone might also be the same model it is rumoured to be.
