LG, which otherwise known for its unique marketing skills has failed to push the G Flex handset in India. LG's self-healing handset is now selling at a price point of Rs. 44,680 via Flipkart.
The South Korean giant has cut off the retail price of the G Flex by Rs. 30,000. The phone was launched in India at a whooping Rs. 69,990. There's no mention of the next-gen G Flex handset, but it seems that LG could be planning to update the series.
The unofficial price cut puts the G Flex in the same price range as other flagship phones available onto Indian market. LG hasn't come clean on the reason for the price cut. LG's arch rival, Samsung, last year unveiled a similar handset - the Galaxy Round. Unfortunately, that device never reached Indian shores.
