LG G Watch Price Slashed to Rs 6,849 in India

Almost every smartphone brand is giving discounts and providing various offers with its products in India to push-up the sales in the ongoing Diwali festival. So far, the domestic market just saw the discounts on the smartphones and tablets.

LG has silently brought down the price of its smartwatch - the G Watch in the Indian market. That should be a treat to many of wearable devices' fans. Moreover, the company is not offering a nominal discount but the device is being sold by the company at the price as low as Rs 6,992 via Snapdeal. To remind you, the LG G Watch was listed on the Google Play Store in India at a price of Rs 14,999, in June.

To talk about the specs, the LG G Watch sports a 1.65-inch IPS LCD(280x280p) display. It is also powered by a 1.2 GHz Processor and 512MB RAM, and comes with 4GB internal storage. It has a 400mAh battery. Moreover, the wearable timepiece comes with a swappable straps, accelerometer, gyroscope and compass, and it is dust and water resistant (IP67 certified).

The smartwatch is equipped with Google's voice recognition service and can perform simple tasks including checking email, sending text messages and carrying out an online search at users' voice command.
