South Korean giant LG is all set to launch G2 on September 30. The big ticket Android powered smartphone will compete against Sony Xperia Z1, as both devices offer mind blowing camera. Last week we had informed you that LG G2 was listed under "coming soon " tag on Saholic.
Until last week, it was often said that LG would announce G2 in India under Rs 45,000. Saholic, a popular online shopping site, has listed G2 for Rs 40,499. Moreover, you can grab the device starting September 30.
You can buy LG G2 worth Rs 40,499 through an EMI scheme offered by Saholic. At Rs. 40,499, LG G2 should sell quite well, considering the device packs absolutely rocking specifications. The internal specifications sheet of G2 is comparable to Sony Xperia Z1.
LG G2 - Highlighted Specifications
The LG G2 has a 5.2-inch Full HD IPS Super LCD2 display having resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels at 443 ppi. It is powered by a 2.26GHz quad-core processor powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal memory. Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean comes out of the box.
There's a 13-mega pixel rear facing camera at the back with advance imaging optics including Optical image stabilization (OIS) feature with Auto Focus and LED Flashlight. Also add a 2.1-mega pixel front facing camera.
The devices measures 8.9mm thick in terms of thickness and weighs 143 grams. Other connectivity options include: 4G LTE-Advanced connectivity, IR Blaster, a 3000mAh Li Ion battery, Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth, NFC and miniUSB 2.0, among others.
LG Optimus G Pro - Highlighted Specifications
The Optimus G Pro packs a 5.5-inch display having resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels at 400ppi. The device is powered by a 1.7GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor and Adreno 320 GPU coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB of ROM (expandable up to 64GB via a microSD card). Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2 comes out of the box. There's a 13-mega pixel rear camera and a 2.1-mega pixel front facing camera.
Connectivity options include: 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC and a 3,140mAh removable battery. The phone is priced at Rs. 38,979 in the Indian market.
Sony Xperia Z1 - Highlighted Specifications
The Sony Xperia Z1 comes with a 5-inch Full HD display powered by mobile technology and X-Reality engine. The handset has a 2.2-GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor (quad- core) processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM (expandable up to 64GB via a microSD card).
The makers have added a 3000mAh Li Ion battery. Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean comes out of the box. The camera is insanely powerful with a 20.7MP ( G Lens + BIONZ image processor ) shooter at the back.
