The buzz these days among the smartphone owners are about Android KitKat version update. And the update is worth an individual's attention as well. Now the owners of LG G2 will have their share of excitement as the company is rumored to release the same version of Android update.
The release of the new update could be South Korean LG's first resolution of the year 2014. Moreover, the update is going to be an international one and would be released in phases. The company has already started to push the update to the owners of this smartphone in South Korea, but it hasn't yet provided specific info on when it will release it internationally.
LG has managed to sell more than 2 million G2 smartphones so far and the update was in fact suppose to release from yesterday itself but so far no update regarding the matter has come up to our notice.
Reportedly, undisclosed sources have unveiled LG's plans on the matter saying that the new update will be pushed out over-the-air. Since nothing has appeared in reality so far, one should take the news with a grain of salt.
We will let you know more about the update as soon as we get the tip. In the mean time take a look at the specs of the device:
LG G2 comes with a 5.2-inch full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) touchscreen display and is powered by a 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system.
Photography is handled by a 13-megapixel rear camera and a front facing shooter as well. While the unique feature of the handset is the power and volume buttons on its back, just beneath the camera.
