LG may be waiting to make its presence felt in the Indian market, but in its own native South Korean market it still stands as a major force. And it seems like the company is back yet again with a brand new handset for its fans.
According to reports, South Korean handset maker LG Electronics has officially announced the release and upcoming availability of its new mid-range LG G3 Beat smartphone. Apparently, the device will be available in South Korea, Europe, and other CIS countries.

The new LG G3 Beat will arrive on South Korean shelves as soon as on July 18. Once the initial release is out of the way, the handset will be released in various other markets in Europe, apart from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries.
"Smartphone manufacturers cannot ignore this growing segment of consumers who want the best balance of looks, features, performance and, of course, price," said Dr. Jong-seok Park, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company.
"The LG G3 Beat represents our commitment to the mid-tier smartphone market that demands mature technology, proven branding, great innovation and attractive price, all in a single device."
The LG G3 Beat was developed to address "the growing low- to mid-tier segment of smartphone customers who want a great device that's more compact but still powerful enough to run the most popular apps," the official release further states.
LG G3 Beat: Highlighted Specifications
The LG G3 Beat features a 5-inch IPS display with 294ppi pixel density. However, the company has dropped the screen resolution from the previous QHD on the LG G3 to a much lower HD resolution of 720x1280 pixels on the LG G3 Beat.
