LG G3 Hands-On and First Look: A Simple Smartphone That's Smart Enough
- Brilliant Display
- Revamped UI
- Powerful and Fast Camera
- Lag Free Experience
- Size may be an Issue
The G3 adopts the same Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor, 32GB of internal storage and 3GB of RAM. In fact, it's the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 CPU and Adreno 330 GPU pairing that we've seen on major devices released so far from the likes of HTC and Sony.
However, this time, LG has walked the same route as that of Samsung and has opted for a faster 2.5GHz version of the chip. As you may have expected, we hardly came across any kind of processor glitch or lag time during our time with the device. But more has to be deduced in the future.
But it still needs to be mentioned that the device did lag a bit when running high definition games on it. And that actually baffled us since the device uses the same Adreno 330 GPU as others in the race. But that's a lag that will only be caught if you sitting knee deep into the title. So don't worry much about it.
