LG G3 Prime To Launch With Snapdragon 805 and Waterproof Build Soon
This year we have seen a new term being used frequently by most of the tech news publication sites. The buzz word is 'premium,' but prior to this, the word that was used to describe the same product was 'flagship.' However, it appears that the flagship word doesn't wholly describe the supreme quality of the product anymore as 'premium' variant of these flagship devices are making their way into the market soon.
To give you few examples of the premium variants of the few flagship devices, you can take Samsung Galaxy F, HTC One M8 Prime and Sony Xperia Z3. Now what has come to our notice might be surprising to most of the smartphone lovers. We are talking about the maker of the G3 smartphone LG, which we earlier thought was the premium device. Turns out, it's not.

Because a recent leak coming courtesy of Bluetooth SIG database suggests that the 'premium' variant of the G3 smartphone does exist. Which means, the above mentioned three premium smartphones are going to face some trouble with this one.
According to some of the publication sites, LG G3 was good but could have been better provided it used latest hardware parts like Snapdragon 805 SoC or even IP67 certification. Anyways, a new device which has appeared on the certification site suggests that a handset carrying a model number LG-F460S, will be powered by Snapdragon 805 CPU and offer IP 67 certification, which means the phone can withstand getting submerged in as much as 3 feet of water, for as long as 30 minutes.

It's also worth mentioning that a couple of weeks ago, a similar phone appeared on Android.prop file with similar model number (LG-F460L). This particular model was codenamed 'Tiger.' This one according to the leak, would also sport Snapdragon 805 SoC, Adreno 420 GPU and a Qualcomm MDM9635 modem. The modem would support speeds as fast as 225Mbps. The screen will have a 1440 x 2560 QHD resolution and the phone will include 3GB of RAM, 16GB of native storage, and a 13MP rear camera.
Tech pundits have interpreted the last syllable in the model numbers of the two devices. According to them, the "S" in the LG-F460S stands for SK Telecom, while the "L" would represents the mobile operator LG+.
Since the device has already received Bluetooth certification, we simply can't ignore but wait for it to launch soon. We are talking about the LG G3 Prime smartphone here and stay tuned to GizBot for more updates!
