Talking about the specs of the device, the G3 comes with a massive 5.5-inch (2560×1440 pixels) Quad HD IPS display churning out the pixel density of 538ppi and it is powered by a 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 (MSM8974AC) processor with Adreno 330 GPU. It's offered in two variants depending on the RAM.

The 2GB RAM featuring model comes with a 16GB built-in memory and the 3GB RAM sporting model comes with a 32GB internal memory. But both are expandable up to 128GB with microSD.

The G3 runs on Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) OS with a layer of Optimus UI on top. The imaging aspect of the handset is pretty innovative as it features 13MP rear camera with OIS plus, Dual LED Flash, and 4K video recording and a new LG technology that uses Laser to Auto Focus.
