LG G3 Update: High-end Smartphone Tipped To Feature Metal Body, MicroSD Card Support
The LG G3 is the soon-to-be-released successor to the popular G2 handset. Like any other handset manufacturer, LG is trying hard to make its presence felt in the high-end of the smartphone market.
More recently, rumors have been edging towards at the possibility of a 5.5-inch 2K LG G3 being released on May 27. There's no proof LG will be using this particular screen size, and the timing is likely to be nothing more than a coincidence, when LG's arch rival- Samsung is also readying a similar high-end device scheduled to hit sometime early next month.

In the meantime, an alleged image of the G3 on Twitter reveals that the device will be available in brushed metal finish. Yes indeed, LG G3 could have a metal body and a microSD card slot, according to two leaked pictures of the phone.
Ahead of the May 27 event, serial leaker @evleaks has apparently leaked new set of pictures which give us an up close and personal look.

From the looks, the G3 will feature a brushed metal finish back cover, instead of a regular polycarbonate cheap plastic rear cover.
"LG G3, fingerprint-magnet no more," read the image's caption on Twitter.
Not long ago, the brushed metal finish look was replicated on the official LG G3 invite. Previous leaked images of the device suggest there will be a plastic edition as well; though nothing much can be said at this point of time.
Furthermore, the LG G3 will support a microSD card, if one asked to believe at the second of the leaked images. The leaked image also shows the G3's battery will be removable, which let you swap a new battery, if needed.
LG G3- What to expect?
LG G3 is expected to feature a 5.5-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display. It will be powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor coupled with 2GB/3GB of RAM and alongside 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card slot.
