LG G4 Pre Orders To Begin On May 29


US Cellular confirmed via social media over the weekend that pre-sales of LG's newest flagship will begin on May 29th in stores, and on the carrier's web site.

What was not revealed was the expected shipping date, in-store availability, or pricing. However, we stand to reason that it will make its way on stage around the same time as the other major carriers, and will likely cost about the same.

Sprint will have LG's latest and greatest beginning June 5th, and will have a retail price of $600, or $200 with a two-year contract. Sprint's leasing program has proved popular as well. T-Mobile should have the handset on June 2nd. It is not official, but third-party retailer sites point to a June 4th release on Verizon and June 12th on AT&T.

The big OEMs have been making a fairly unified debut for their flagship devices, so US Cellular will likely be in that date range.

The LG G4 is seen as a somewhat incremental upgrade from its predecessor, though that is not to say the device is not packing the goods.

It is one of the few remaining devices with expandable storage, replaceable battery, and can be adorned with a variety of leather back plates.

Of course the quad-HD display has been improved, but the pièce de résistance is the new 16-megapixel camera. From its f/1.8 aperture, to laser-assisted focus, to its color accurate sensor, LG hit a bulls-eye with the camera.
