The company's latest L65 in fact fills the naming gap between the L 3 series of smartphones which was unveiled earlier this year at the MWC 2014. The L3 consists of L70 and L90 and the L65 would in fact fall in the line-up so well. The recently launcehd L63 Dual is priced at $211(approx. Rs. 12,714).

The L65 has a 5MP rear camera that comes with auto-focus but sadly it lacks the LED Flash. There is also a 0.3 megapixel front unit.

L65 has 4GB of built-in storage space which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot.

Connectivity features that come loaded with the phone include Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/AGPS, EDGE/GPRS, microUSB and 3G.

The phone which measures 127.2×66.8×9.6mm and weighs 126 grams draws its energy from a removable 2100 mAh battery. It is available in White and Black colors.

The latest L65 also features LG's proprietary softwares like Knock Code and more. LG has also designed smart covers for the phone that will enable the user to instantly access information such as weather, clock and music, without opening the flap. The user can also accept or reject an incoming call using the cover.

There is no word on whether the handset will come to Indian market or not.
