LG L80 Dual: 5 Inch Dual SIM Android Smartphone Listed Online at Rs 17,500
It's hardly a secret that LG will unveil the G3 flagship handset later in the evening. The much hyped handset is expected to give Samsung Galaxy S5 a run for money if LG puts an according price tag to it. Although the India launch of LG G3 is unknown at the moment, but the company has quietly launched the LG L80 Dual at Rs. 17,500. The mid-range phone has been listed on LG's official India website.
First introduced in Brazil and Indonesia, the dual-SIM handset features a 5-inch display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 mobile processor, coupled with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory, which can be later expanded via a microSD card slot.

On the imaging front, there's a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with a LED Flash and a VGA quality front-facing camera. The handset runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat out-of-the box, while the makers have added a 2540mAh battery fitted inside. Other connectivity options include: Wi-Fi, 3G, FM Radio, GPS, among other features.
No exact word on the release date in India, but it seems that the device will be soon made available into Indian market. The phone will be released in white and black colors.
LG L80 Dual- Should You Buy?
All that being said, Rs. 17,500 is pretty steep for what is essentially a standard dual-core phone. The LG L80 Dual SIM lacks any sort of creativity. This handset packs insanely low-powered spec sheet. It is better to buy the Motorola Moto G or the Moto E. Stay tuned to GizBot for more updates!
