LG L90 Vs Lava Iris 504Q+: Will the KitKat Make All the Difference?
Striking comparisons between smartphones is quite the ordeal these days. This is primarily because there are a host of new devices that are arriving almost everyday from a number of different manufacturers.
The concept of releasing brand new smartphones almost everyday is also quite a justified one since the Indian domestic smartphone market, in recent times, has seen a surge of devices flowing into it for users to opt from.
While the market is currently filled with a host of smartphone manufacturers from all parts of the world like Samsung, Apple or Sony, the market still sees a lot of action from the likes of Micromax, Lava or Karbonn which are primarily India-based.
Now, two new devices that are trying to make the most out of this open market are the new LG L90 and the Lava-made Iris 504Q+. While both the smartphones are looking to capture at least some part of the market, they will still know that a lot of work needs to be done if a company is to stay afloat (if not active) in the market.
But leaving all others from the equation fro the moment, let's focus on the two devices that we mentioned above. How does the LG L90 and the Lava-made Iris 504Q+ stand against each other when put together on the same platter? Lets take a closer look.

LG L90 Vs Lava Iris 504Q+: Operating System
There's not much to choose from in this respect since both the devices come offering the Google-based Android operating system. However, the LG L90 has a better ground in this respect as it offers the new Android KitKat straight out of the box.
LG L90 Vs Lava Iris 504Q+: Display and Dimensions
The LG L90 comes with a 4.7-inch capacitive display with 540 x 960 pixels resolution. The device measures at 131.6 x 66 x 9.7 mm and weighs in at 126 grams.
Compared to this, the Lava Iris 504Q+ comes with a 5-inch IPS display offering a HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels with OGS technology and Asahi Dragontrail glass protection.
LG L90 Vs Lava Iris 504Q+: Camera
The LG L90 offering comes with an 8-megapixel primary camera with autofocus and LED flash. There's also a secondary 1.3-megapixel camera present at the front of the device.
The Lava Iris 504Q+, on the other hand, uses a 10MP rear camera with LED Flash and the snapper uses the Sony Exmor RS Sensor with 1.4 µm aperture. On the front there is a 2MP front-facing shooter as well sufficient enough to make video calls and take selfies.
LG L90 Vs Lava Iris 504Q+: Processor
With new phones arriving almost everyday with massively improved specs and features, it's only natural that the phones will offer a similarly decent processig unit for hassle-free computing.
While the LG L90 comes running a quad core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 processor, the Lava Iris 504Q+ comes equipped with a somewhat similar quad core 1.3 GHz processor.
LG L90 Vs Lava Iris 504Q+: Storage and RAM
The LG L90 offers 1GB of RAM while also offering the device in 8 GB internal memory variant. Apart from that, the device also supports microSD support up to 32GB externally.

LG L90 Vs Lava Iris 504Q+: Battery

LG L90 Vs Lava Iris 504Q+: Price
While the LG L90 comes with a price tag of Rs. 16,470, the Lava Iris 504Q+ has been made available at Rs. 12,999.
LG L90 Vs Lava Iris 504Q+: Verdict
Without any real bias towards anybody mentioned in this piece, it has to be said that the LG device, although a tad bit costly, still stands a better chance in the race comapred to its Lava counterpart. And in case you are wondering why we say so, it's primarily because we are guessing everyone will be wanting to run the new Android KitKat OS.
And for that amount of money, we see no reason why the LG device shouldn't be more popular among users.
