    LG's latest flagship, the Lancet will be available from May 21st, 2015 at verizon according to an official brochure that leaked online.

    The said document also mentions that the smartphone will be powered by Windows Phone 8.1, but that it will be upgraded to Windows 10 Mobile when the new operating system gets released later this year.

    Specs-wise, the low-end device is powered by the Snapdragon 410 SoC, featuring a 1.2 GHz quad-core CPU, and sports a 4.5-inch 480x854 touchscreen. It is said to come with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of expandable internal memory (of which half should be user-accessible), and packs in a 2,100 mAh battery.

    The phone weighs only 143 grams and it measures 129.8 x 64.8 x 10.7 mm. According to the Lancet's product brochure, this phone features ergonomic design, which is made to fit perfectly in hand.

    In terms of camera, the Lancet has an 8 MP rear unit, and a VGA selfie snapper. It runs Windows Phone 8.1 Update 2, and comes with features such as KnockOn (double tap to wake or sleep), as well as Soft Light and Gesture Shot for camera.

    Other Windows Phone smartphone to make their debut at Verizon this year will be Microsoft Lumia 735 that will be launched after May 21.
