    LG is on a move to launch its latest NFC enabled smartphone which is named as LG Optimus Elite. According to the sources, it would come with various low to mid range specifications as mentioned below.

    Optimus Elite includes a 3.2 inch HVGA multi touchscreen having a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels. It runs on Android Gingerbread platform and houses a single core processor triggered at 800MHz.

    Coming to its storage capacity, LG Optimus Elite has got an inbuilt memory of 4GB. It can be further expanded with the aid of microSD cards. Moving on to its camera features, it has a 5 MP rear camera which supports auto focus and LED flash. No information has been yet received whether it would have a front camera for video chatting or not.

    It also facilitates various other connectivity features including 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. Moreover, it has got a Proximity sensor, YouTube player, Computer sync, OTA sync and Accelerometer sensor. LG Optimus Elite also assists in Voice dialling, Voice commands and Voice recording.

    The pricing details of LG Optimus Elite have not yet been revealed. However, one can expect, this NFC enabled handset to be launched before May this year. The sources have also added that, it would be having multiple carriers viz, the Sprint and Virgin Mobile. It is supposed that LG Optimus Elite will be lunched first on Sprint and then later on Virgin Mobile.
