Recently LG splashed the tech arena with two flagship biggies including LG Optimus G Pro and the back buttoned phone LG G2. Both are high end and highly priced phones which are manufactured to meet the cravings of niche geek consumers. However, with the launch of the heavyweights, it doesn't mean that the South Korean phone maker has completely forgot about it's mid range audience.
Rather, it seems LG is prepping to out one more smartphone in the mid range segment very soon. As, the rumors are loud and wild online, hinting at the successor of LG Optimus Vu 2. Thus this one will probably be called the Optimus Vu 3.
According to the Korean publication who has leaked the first information about the handset, this third generation Vu handset from LG is already in works. Moreover, the report further says that the Optimus Vu 3 would come with a bit larger display measuring 5.2 inch than its predecessor which comes packed with 5 inch. Well, both seems to have the same 4:3 screen ratio, which is quite an odd quality for the modern smartphones.
Moreover, there is also an improvement in the screen resolution of the new Vu 3 which comes at 1280 by 960 pixels while the older Vu 2 cames with 768 x 1024 pixels.
Furthermore, the handset is also said to feature, Snapdragon 800 chip. There would be a trending 13MP camera, and LTE-Advanced support is also said to accompany the device.
Talking about the operating system, the latest Android 4.3 Jelly Bean will come loaded in the Optimus Vu 3. Moreover, reports say that these are the confirmed specs but apart from these, other details like RAM, Graphics and ROM are not available as of now.
Meanwhile, LG Vu 3 is expected to be announced in September, at the IFA, Berlin; analysts expect that this LG should drop the oddly designed form factor and come up with a device which is more palm friendly than what LG Optimus Vu 2 and original Optimus Vu turned out to be.
