LG's Android OS based Quad core phone, X3 is out


Time for level ups it seems, or at least that is what the recently held CES 2012 has pointed at. With all major manufacturers already having their prototypes of high end gadgets geared up with the top technology available present day, the future is in the air.

It was HTC that first revealed their love for quad processor packed high performers in the tablet mode but now LG with their latest LG X3 has announced they are not far behind. The new LG X3 is a quad core processor equipped smart phone with some mouth watering specifications and it wont be long a wait for one to grab a piece of the symbol of LG excellence.

LG X3 packed with some astonishing features was showcased at the CES held at Las Vega early this month. The specifications along with the key feature of a quad core processor can be listed starting with,

NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor (quad core)

  • 4.7 inch display with a screen resolution of 1280 X 720

  • 9 mm casing

  • Android 4.0 Ice cream sandwich

    The processor is the manufacturer’s key claim and obviously a 4.7 inch display is larger enough to be noticed. The resolution is perfect for displaying some colour in a way they are supposed to be. The best Android to be found in a gadget so powerful in the core is definitely the Ice Cream Sandwich and not a big surprise, its all set ready.

    Beaming at the phone, one would find some cool utilities like an 8 mega pixel rear camera along with its 1.2 mega pixel front camera. Going further deep the specification will one notice are a 21 Mbps HSPA, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi LAN, Bluetooth 4.0 etc. Care has been given for the handset by providing all such utilities with their latest upgrades available. Memory storage is a 16 GB in the device.


    Now one major problem of the smart phone losing its juice, caused by the over loaded applications and utilities will be solved by the heavy power supply unit in the device which is a 2,000 mAh battery.

    Indeed the phone is a dream come true for all those who are into the future of smart phones and this can be the beginning of the next genus Smart phones, where the handsets act even smarter with improved applications and configurations. The details on the phone’s release are not yet known but it’s heard that the phone might possibly make an appearance at MWC next moth. The price details are expected to be known from there.
